Born 1977 in “Wonderful Copenhagen”
I don’t know who invented that adjective, but I really suggest new updated payoff:
Copenhagen – city of irony
- being the first CO2 neutral capital where global warming results in decreased temperature
Coffeetable version en brief
Both parents working at the Royal Opera but no – they didn’t pass on the artistic genes – - I’m a artistic eunuk – want to – can’t. Tough shit.
After college – I took a Master Degree in Communication and Media from the University of Copenhagen while taking studentjobs and experiencing the varieties of relationships – and there were quite a few in postmodern 1990′es.
Spiritual growth, self-reflection and travelling has been equally important in forming my life’s curriculum as the conceptual knowledge derived from “academia”. In fact I have gained far more valuable insights outside faculties than inside.
Living an urban professional life as single, female thirty-something may appear as an episode of Sex and the City drowned in eternal bliss of Manolos and Cosmos. In fact it’s more like “is there any place at all for people born before the fall of the Berlin Wall?” Oh there is: The infinite numbers of Michelin restaurants with über creative variations on a theme.
And honestly – I would prefer a two-weeks spa retreat in Koh Samui to “an innovative adventure of cutting-edge fusion of cauliflower, sea-weed and foie gras with a twist of pickled ginger-mousse.” But that’s just me.. When did food become rocket-science?
And now. What about now. The power of now. The only moment we have. I have decided to go for a more sunblessed and grand setting.
Goodbye Copenhagen. Aloha Hawaii.
