Found this picture on Flickr and to me it captures the beauty of Dave Gahan…
What a piece of art that man is….

Even more seldom is marvellous
And sheer beauty is a down right rarity…. especially as regards human beings…
The obvious physical beauty of this man is legendary and – well .. obvious.
But the true beauty of this man is an inside job.
It’s about authenticity. Seeking deeper, beneath and beyond… The existential and personal transformation. Personal and artistic integrity
It’s about a complete and definitive masculine imperative.
A sensitivity to remind us all about our own vulnerability and what defines us as human beings
And that voice is killing me. And those eyes are killing me. And those moves are killing me. That energy is killing me. Everything is killing me.
Dave Gahan is just too precious and just too marvellous for words.
More shall be revealed!

Disclaimer I admit it. I’m not only pathetic ignorant of american politics and media but also completely inadequate of commenting on the topic. What’s more – I have absolutely no clue – and I mean NO clue – on what’s going on inside Bill o’ Reilly and the FOX people… /Disclaimer
According to Columbia Journalism Review
they are Day after day, week after week, these outlets worked determinedly to discredit and degrade Obama, accusing him of being a Muslim, a Marxist, a radical, a revolutionary, a socialist, a communist, a thug, a mobster, a racist, an agent of voter fraud, a black-power advocate, a madrasah graduate, an anti-Semite, an enemy of Israel, an associate of terrorists—even the Antichrist.
Tjeck this out folk…. It’s Alice in Wonderland to me ind a baaad way.. Very very weird. Very twisted… And thequestion that remains unanswered is – but why?
Why Fox? Why Bill?

Those were the words. Dining at some friend’s. After discussing that our Prime Minister has left the Country to become Prime Minister of Nato – it slipped my tongue that I was thinking about leaving as well. Relocate from Denmark to America. From Copenhagen to Honololu. Why not?
UARRGHH – My God – - you would have thought I said I wasgoing to Afghanistan. If I thought that they would give me street creds for for audacity – I was wrong…
What are you going to do there? Why not New Zealand og.. Italy or… Why go at all???
But there is a dream. A intuition. A sense of adventure and and a couple of ideas…. and q few bucks as well. I’m not completely stupid..
But it wasn’t good enough. That was exactly what they said. I would have to come up with something better… I cannot think of a better thing than pursuing a dream… even though it may turn out to be a flop… But daring going out on a limp and take the plunge…
In other words… we didn’t see eye to eye, and my answer and project seemed to be slightly provoking to them. Me wanting to quit, take a time-out and start miles away just seems like a crazy-ass thing to do. Childish – maybe even dsperatNaive or courageous?e. Naive to say the least.

Okaaayyy – It was bad timing. Perhaps even hasty. But also totally robbed of a broader context.. Am I the only one one this planet thinking her karma comment has been totally misunderstood and blown out of proportions? But – boycutting her movies? Hatred blogs and commentators in rage? Dior having to terminate her contract? International Scandal? Breaking news…? Outrageous? Cold blooded?
So is Sharon Stone really talking about moral causality being metaphysically inscribed in the fabric of the universe and ?
Contrary to the common opinion obviously shared by the majority of the world, I don’t think so. Not at all. Nope – I dont think she was actually “suggesting that the earthquake that killed at least 67,000 was bad “karma” after Beijing’s policy in Tibet..” No, but she DOES commit the mistake of displacing her self doubt describing a learning experience of being in doubt when faced with irony…..Actually she emphazises “that sometimes you have to learn that you have to be of service – even to people that is not nice to you – that’s a big lesson for me”
Oooups – you baaad Chinese – you had THAT coming….
NOT. NOT. NOT. … but then again – it may be too much to ask for people to look for sutlety and ambiguity in a world where leading men epitomizes the zenith of human wisdom stealing a punchline from Dirty Harry: Either you’re with with us – or against us. That’s suitable lingo for General Managers of the Universe…
In my humble opiniion – She is actually one of the few Celebs who is aligned with a sense of somewhat personal integrity. .truthseeking and concerned about contributing… also beyond ego and “greedy – needy”… Sharon Stone stands out. Not only as in “Outspoken and Controversial”. No spin. No BS. She’s the real Deal.. YES – Sharon rocks my world. She’s got balls. She’s flawless. She’s brillant. Over-the-top. Larger than life. .. The quintessential ICON…on the surface… but there is a depth to the Glamour Girl and “moviestar” that surpasses most people..
Did you ever f*** on cocaine, Nick? – It’s nice
But let’s take a joyride down memory lane….. Fasten your seatbelt ..Here comes …Catherine Tramell – The Femme Fatale to end all Femme Fatales…. Cruella Deville meets Hannibal Lectur meets Carmen Sherwood Basic Instinct is a great movie no matter what people say. Who can forget a lines such as “He got off before he got off….”.. Has death and pleasure been linked more “spot on”
Catherine: I’m a writer. I use people for what I write, let the world beware. I’m not gonna confess all my secrets, Nick, just because I have an orgasm. You won’t learn anything I don’t want you to learn. Curran: Yes I will, and then I’ll nail ya. Catherine: Nah, you’ll just fall in love with me. Curran: I’m in love with you already.. ..but I’ll nail you anyway. You can put that in your book.
What a way to go…. I wouldn’t hesitate. Catherine Tramell is larger than life. Tragedy and taking everybody along with her to extinction… What a seductive sociopath… I’d go for her all the way to the ice pick… There was Liz Taylor in “Whos afraid of Virginia Wolf”. There is Sharon in Casino. Martha and Ginger. Probably two of the best female performances in movie history… Desperation looked thru the whiskey bottle… Humanity lost in translation. Sharon Stone is not a good actor. She is force of nature. Beyond awesome.
Global Warning. CO2. Financial meltdown. Recession. Nations on the verge of total collapse. Poverty increasing. Nature catastrophes. Womens rights under attack. What the world need is more people like Sharon Stone. How do you say that in chinese?
So what are you going to do? Charge me with smoking?

“
My name is Andrea Hoffmann and I having lived my entire urban life in Copenhagen, Denmark – I ‘m ready to break boundaries and seek out new and adventures. That’s whats this blog is about. For now. Me relocating from Scandinavia to Hawaii. But I need your help to get startet… networking, tips, advice, job , accomodation – YOUNAMEIT – bring it on…
With a Masters Degree in Communication and PR, I have worked as a freelance copywriter b2b and b2c, and for companies specialised in advertising, branding, PR, direct marketing, online strategy and copywriting.
In my early 20es I was bartending and a cocktail hostress at nightclubs as well as having done a good deal of babysitting and assisting kids with their homework.
I can get and e-mail recommendations / references, University Diploma and other formal papers if needed..
Well, I’m really just looking for at place to start. So anything goes… (well almost anything…) But of-corse my primary force is in the communication department…
The main thing, however, is to earn enough to sustain a moderate living and a accomodation.
And speaking of accomodation: I need some help here as well. I’d prefer a room in a shared apartment. Moderate but not seedy..
Let’s get to the good stuff….
What about an agreeable personality, great humour, relaxed and fun to be around, no drama queen and easy to connect with…
I have a good deal of personal experiences, a positive outlook on whats IS – not the problems or the limitations – that’s my style..
Well -.. I enjoy Yoga, spiritual readings, crime novels, music – jazz, classical, r’n'b, electronica, latin – movies, going to cultural events and of-couse – all outdoor activities. That’s why I relocate at a time where other women consolidates with spouses and children…
And speaking of family – I have no spouse or children but I do have a happy divorce behind me. For what it’s worth …

Blandt andet
